Chet Curtis and Natalie Jacobson become nightly news co-anchors on WCVB Channel 5.

They are the first married nightly news co-anchors in a major television market in the U.S. After their divorce, Jacobson becomes the first woman to serve as sole anchor of the evening news in Boston in 2000. Her last newscast is July 18, 2007.
